Deploying Applications on the Qubinets Platform: A Comprehensive Guide​

This documentation will guide you through the process of deploying applications on the Qubinets platform once your cloud environment has been instantiated.

Step 1: Log In to Your Qubinets Account​

  • Open your browser and navigate to the Qubinets login page.
  • Enter your credentials and log in to access your dashboard.

Step 2: Access the Deployment Section​

  • From the dashboard, navigate to the left sidebar section.
  • Click on the "New Project" to start the deployment process.

Step 3: Select the Application​

  • Choose the application you want to deploy from the list. For instance, if you want to deploy Postgres, select it from the available applications.
  • The selected application will have some default properties pre-loaded for deployment.

Step 4: Configure Application Parameters​

  • Application Parameters: Review and adjust the default parameters as needed. Each application has its own set of parameters that can be configured.
  • Extra Parameters: If additional parameters are required for your application, you can define them under the "Extra Parameters" section. This allows you to customize the deployment beyond the default settings provided by Qubinets.

Step 5: Sync Workspace​

  • Before deploying, ensure your workspace is updated by clicking on the "Sync Qubes" button. This synchronizes your current configuration with the cloud environment.
  • It's important to note that the workspace changes are not applied until you perform this sync.

Step 6: Deploy the Application​

  • After configuring the parameters and syncing the workspace, proceed to deploy the application.
  • Click on the "Sync Qubes" to initiate the deployment process.
  • The platform will use the specified parameters to start the application.

Step 7: Monitor Deployment​

  • Once the deployment process begins, you can monitor its progress through the dashboard.
  • The status of your application will be displayed, and you can track the deployment to ensure it completes successfully.

Step 8: Post-Deployment Management​

  • After the application is deployed, you can manage it using the tools provided in the Qubinets dashboard.
  • Monitor performance, adjust parameters, and scale resources as needed.

  • Configuration Issues: Recheck your application parameters if the deployment fails.
  • Sync Problems: Ensure that you have clicked on "Sync Qubes" to update your workspace before deployment.
